What Charlize Theron’s child thought of her attire during the event was the subject of a comment.
The actress donned a look that was right off the catwalk.
This week, she revealed something important about becoming a mother.
Charlize Theron made an impression with her audacious costume choice at Tuesday’s Dior show during Paris Fashion Week. The “Young Adult” actress wore a brown skirt with a scalloped hem that was high wasted.
The dress was made of a loosely crocheted cloth that was gently adorned with crystals, revealing her black underpants. She finished the ensemble by French-tucking a dapper white collar shirt.
For several years, Charlize, the face of the J’adore Dior fragrance, attended the event with her 11-year-old daughter Jackson Theron.Jackson, like her mother, was not afraid to flaunt her sense of style. Under her elegant plaid jacket and matching skirt, Jackson wore a shirt that looked similar to her mother’s.
Some others were not enthralled with the star’s appearance, which was from the brand’s fall/winter 2023 couture presentation. As soon as a tabloid shared pictures from the event on social media, haters voiced their opinions. One person speculated, “She forgot half the dress.”
Another exclaimed, “Shame on her!” Someone questioned, “Why do mature, successful, and accomplished women feel that standing there in their underwear for the entire world to see is somehow feminine, sexy, or empowering?”
None of those things apply to it. It’s obscene and desperate,” they continued. A comment on Instagram said, “Imagine your mom showing up to an event with her panties showing.”
Some admirers expressed their appreciation for Charlize and her daughter in spite of the criticism. One drooled over the amazing experience of being the actress’ daughter. “Considere having Charlize Theron as [your] mother,” they shot back, adding a fiery emoji to their statement. “Wow, she’s the greatest mother ever,” another user said.
“That resembles a caring mother,” another person said. How strange is it that I think she looks like her mother? They’re both really beautiful,” someone remarked, drawing agreement from another.
Two daughters, whom Charlize acknowledged made her “laugh like nobody’s business,” are her children. After adopting August Theron three years later, she completed her family, having become a single mother in 2012 after meeting Jackson Theron.
Her relationship status did not inform her decision to adopt. Growing up in South Africa, she was exposed to orphanages and other children in need.
She has always been honest with her partners that adoption was how she planned to start her family. “This was definitely not a second option for me. It was always my first,” she clarified.
When she started the adoption process, she “cast a very wide net,” as she believed the kid she was intended to mother would find on their path to her. The actress submitted applications in all nations where adoption was legal for one person.
The two African Americans who were born to her were born in the United States. Because “these two babies were meant to be in my life — and they’re my children,” she had high expectations for the adoption process, which were met.
Charlize Theron admitted to Extra TV that motherhood, as rewarding as it is, can be isolating, “I feel like there is a lot of stuff in raising kids that people are scared to talk about, and you feel sort of alone with it.”
