In July 2024, the former couple listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million, while Ben Affleck secured a new Los Angeles property for $20 million.

Now, Jennifer Lopez is turning the page on her shared life with Affleck.
The 55-year-old actress and singer has purchased a new home just outside Los Angeles for approximately $18 million, according to property records.
The major real estate move comes shortly after Lopez and Affleck finalized their divorce on January 6, 2025. She initially filed for divorce on August 20—marking what would have been their second wedding anniversary.
According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE, Lopez quietly began house hunting in April 2024, around the same time she listed her separation date from Affleck as April 26 in legal documents.
At one point, she was eyeing an “exceptional” Beverly Hills property known for its privacy and A-list neighbors, but ultimately chose a different address.
That July, she and Affleck officially put their Beverly Hills home on the public market after first offering it privately in June. The estate, which they purchased together for just under $61 million in June 2023, struggled to find a buyer before being listed.
Meanwhile, Affleck purchased a five-bedroom home described by a source as “family-friendly, but easily convertible into a bachelor pad.” The neighborhood is known for attracting high-profile names and offers a low-key, sophisticated atmosphere.
Affleck closed on his new place the same day Lopez finalized the sale of her New York City duplex for $23 million—coincidentally, her 55th birthday. The four-bedroom, 7.5-bath apartment had been on and off the market for seven years before it finally sold.
